Nowadays, ecology is being destroyed, climate is warming, disease is raging, and disasters are occurring frequently.

Under the background of the unprecedented huge survival crisis, the development of low-carbon economy is becoming the consensus of all countries.

From the Kyoto Protocol of 1957 to the World Climate Conference in Copenhagen in 2009 and the Paris Accord in 2015, all countries in the world are seeking ways to reduce carbon emissions.

The essence of low-carbon economy is to improve energy efficiency and clean energy structure. The core of low-carbon economy is the innovation of new energy technology industry. On the occasion of the United Nations Global Innovation Conference in 2018 and the unveiling of the International Center for the Promotion of New Energy Industries, dozens of new energy enterprises and relevant parks in the Yangtze River Delta solemnly issued the "Green Declaration" here, which states as follows:

1. We commit ourselves to vigorously building innovative platforms for new energy industries, actively developing new energy technologies, developing an industrial system dominated by clean energy industries, supplemented by innovative R&D industries and service industries.

2. We pledge to vigorously build an international platform for new energy science and technology innovation and exchange, actively develop new energy technologies, promote the transfer and docking of new energy technologies, and develop a low-carbon economy.

3. We commit ourselves to establishing a long-term exchange and cooperation mechanism for new energy science and technology and participating enterprises and parks in this congress. Regular meetings and visits should be taken to build a new energy industry alliance in the Yangtze River Delta and establish a mechanism of mutual benefit, mutual assistance and innovation and cooperation. Share information, knowledge, policy, experience, strengthen bilateral, multilateral investment, trade, technology, industrial innovation cooperation.

4. We pledge to give full support to the International New Energy Industry Promotion Center of the Global Innovation Network of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and its demonstration platform, such as the Shanghai Nenggu International Science and Technology Innovation Center, the Shanghai Free Trade Zone International New Energy Technology Transfer Center and other base innovation activities, to promote the innovation of the new energy industry in the Yangtze River Delta and promote the rapid development of low-carbon economy.
